A 21-year-old Nigerian woman has taken to social media to seek public advice after her husband of four months has refused to consummate their marriage.
The woman, who remains unidentified, shared her distress in a post on popular Facebook page.
According to her, she married her 26-year-old husband in April 2024, after an eight-month courtship.
Both were virgins at the time of their marriage. Despite their union, the woman revealed that her husband has not attempted to have intercourse with her since their wedding.
The situation became more troubling for her after a recent visit from her mother-in-law, who urged the couple to start having children without delay.
The husband, however, reportedly laughed off the suggestion without offering any explanation.
The young woman, who is an orphan and was raised by reverend sisters in an orphanage, shared that she is at a loss on how to proceed.
She has tried various methods to attract her husband’s attention, including wearing sexy nightgowns and preparing his favorite meals, but to no avail.
When confronted about the issue, her husband repeatedly assures her that nothing is wrong.
Now, four months into their marriage, the woman is turning to the public for advice, as she feels increasingly confused and desperate for a resolution.
