After a prolonged wait, the well-known activist VeryDarkMan has been released from prison, causing widespread excitement and celebrations across Nigeria.
It is remembered that he had been initially detained and was supposed to remain in prison for a week, based on reports.
He appeared in court and was held in custody until his next hearing on Wednesday, May 29th.
In a recently circulated video, VDM was seen exiting a facility accompanied by several men, while someone in the background cheered him on.
