Information reaching Becksblog.com.ng, that a yet-to-be identified young man, has reportedly stabbed a female sex worker in Delta State.
The tragic event occurred at Lawfab Hotel in the Okpe Local Government Area of the state, reportedly on Sunday.
The victim, identified as Vera, was purportedly the most senior sex worker at the hotel.
According to reports gathered by Sahara Reporters, the assailant was a client who engaged Vera’s services for an overnight encounter in her room.
A source familiar with the incident recounted;
“Vera was the oldest prostitute in the hotel, she was engaged by one of her customers who paid for her service overnight – till daybreak – in her room.”
Tensions escalated when the latter customer refused to honor the agreed-upon payment, leading to a heated altercation between them.
The disagreement turned violent as the client allegedly used a broken bottle to fatally stab Vera before fleeing the scene.
“After the service, the customer refused to pay the already agreed amount which led to a serious argument between them. The guy stabbed Vera with a broken bottle and ran away,” the source added.
DSP Bright Edafe, the spokesperson for the state police command, confirmed the disturbing incident to SaharaReporters.
Edafe assured that an investigation into the tragedy has been initiated, though the suspect remains at large.
