Due to the rising cases of stealing and burgling of student’s properties by miscreant, the Plateau state university Student Union Government (SUG), has call on all students whose belongings are still in school to go and pack them out of the school.
In a statement sign by Hon.Bright Awu Daniels, Clerk 8th Assembly, said students property are no longer safe whenever they are on break or strike.
He further begged the students to go and pack as the await negotiations between the School Management and State Government.
You will recalled that the University Lecturers are on indefinite Strike following failure of government to meet it’s early agreement.
The state read in parts;

Greetings in the name of ALUTA.We wish to notify great Plasites that it has come to the notice of the body that the stealing and burgling of properties of students by miscreant are in a high increase in the off campus.
Its very sad and uncalled for that students property aren’t longer safe when ever students are on break.After the accessements of room burgled,the Parliament want to please ask students who belongings are in the school to as a matter of urgency go and pack them back home even as we await negotiations between the School Management and State Government concerning the Lingering strike..
And also to clarify that Strike has not been called off yet but negotiation are still ongoing..
