In a sad development reaching Becksblog.com.ng, the Owanlen, Emeritus Archbishop, His Grace, Most Rev. Dr. Patrick Ebosele Ekpu of the Catholic Archdiocese of Benin City, has died.
Multiple reports confirm that His Grace passed away on Tuesday night, August 6 at the age of 92 after a brief illness on the Feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord.
Archbishop Ekpu, who founded the Congregation of the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (SSH Sisters) in 1975, was a beloved spiritual leader.
