Information reaching Becksblog.com.ng, that the Department of State Services DSS, had on Saturday, September 9, arrested and detained the deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN, Mrs Aishah Ndanusa-Ahmad who is in charge of Financial System Stability.
According to reports, that the 46 year old Aishah is married to retired Brigadier-General Abdullah Al-Hassan Ahmad, a respected security-Intelligence officer.

She was however, appointed in October 2017 by former president Muhammadu Buhari to replace Dr. Sarah Alade, the then Deputy Governor, Economic Policy, CBN who retired in March same year
Ahmad has long been one of those on Asiwaju’s radar as Godwin Emefiele’s possible successor.

She is expected to help clear issues on Titan Trust Bank’s acquisition of Union Bank and on how the former sourced 300 million Dollars to complete the acquisition of Union Bank.
In December 2021, Titan bank, Nigeria’s newest bank then, acquired Union Bank after core investors sold a majority stake, which totalled 89.39 per cent.
