Breaking: Missing Air Force Alpha Jet Found Crashed At Abba-Jille, Fate Of Pilots Unknown

 

 

According to report reaching Becksblog.com.ng, that the missing Alpha jet of the Nigerian Air Force which went missing on Wednesday, March 31 in Borno, has been found.

The jet was however, found to have crashed at Abba-Jille in Konduga local government are of Borno State which is just about 30Kms away from the main city Maiduguri.

The fighter jet was last seen flying around Goni Kurmiri and Njimia villages after attacking terrorist locations at the Sambisa Forest axis.

At the time of filing this report, there was no word yet on the fate of the pilot and co-pilot.

According to Air Force spokesman, Commodore Edward Gabkwet, that on Wednesday evening, the plane lost contact with the radar in Borno State, while on interdiction mission in support of ground troops.

He said;
“The mission was part of the ongoing counterinsurgency operations in the North East.

“The loss of radar contact occurred at about 5:08 p.m. on 31 March 2021.
