An explosion erupted near the bustling Terminus market in Jos on Tuesday morning, causing widespread panic and injuries.
The blast, which occurred around 10:30 a.m., sent shockwaves through the city, with eyewitnesses describing scenes of chaos and destruction.
Gyang Buba, a clothes vendor, recounted, “I was nearby when I heard a loud bang. People were running and screaming. It was terrifying.”
Although the extent of the damage remains unclear, initial reports suggest multiple injuries and possible fatalities.
Emergency responders, including police, fire services, and medical teams, have been deployed to the area.
