Leonardo DiCaprio has distanced himself from Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs after a photo resurfaced showing the actor at one of Combs’ infamous “White Parties” in the late 1990s.
The Hollywood star, 49, reportedly has had no contact with the music mogul, 54, “for years,” according to a source close to the actor.
This comes after Combs was recently arrested and indicted in the Southern District of New York on charges of racketeering, sëx trafficking, and trafficking to engage in prostitution.
The charges include accusations that the rapper orchestrated “elaborate and produced sex performances,” known as “freak offs,” where women were allegedly coerced into participating. Authorities claim they discovered large quantities of baby oil at Combs’ properties, reportedly used during these events.
Some participants were so physically exhausted that they required IV drips afterward.
Photos published by Dailymail.com show DiCaprio at one of Combs’ White Parties in 1998, held at the rapper’s East Hampton estate.
The event was a high-profile affair, with other celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, and Mariah Carey also attending. DiCaprio, however, maintains he was never involved in any of the more disturbing allegations tied to Combs.
“Leonardo DiCaprio has absolutely nothing to do with any of this,” the source emphasized, adding that the actor attended a few parties in the early 2000s when he was just starting his career.
“They were big house parties, not ‘freak offs.’ Leo has long moved past his partying days.”
Combs once referred to DiCaprio as the “number one person” on his White Party invitation list during a 2018 Vogue interview.
However, the last public appearance the two shared was at the Democratic National Convention in 2004, and they were also spotted briefly at Combs’ 50th birthday in 2019.
The source underscored that DiCaprio’s association with Combs is limited to those past social events, and any implication that the actor is connected to Combs’ current legal troubles based on decades-old photos is “ridiculous.”
