In a statement from his Chief Press Secretary, Osaigbovo Iguobaro, the Benin monarch emphasized that improvement takes time and asked Nigerians to allow the current administration to implement its economic policies aimed at easing current hardships.
He acknowledged that progress may be slow initially but encouraged patience. Additionally, Oba Ewaure requested the federal government to enhance its efforts in executing economic and security measures and advised against proceeding with the planned nationwide protest.
