Faisal Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, the son of former Kaduna State Governor Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, has tragically passed away following a road accident on the Kaduna-Zaria highway.
According to a family source who requested anonymity, the accident occurred on Saturday evening, October 12.
Faisal was rushed to an undisclosed hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
His father was reportedly present at the hospital during this difficult time, and arrangements are being made for his burial.
Faisal Makarfi, a civil engineer, was well-educated, having attended Kaduna International School before completing his secondary education at Adesoye College in Offa, Kwara State.
He later pursued higher education at the University of Greenwich in London, where he obtained both undergraduate and master’s degrees. Faisal was also enrolled in a PhD program at the same institution.
The family has expressed their grief during this tragic loss, as the community remembers Faisal for his contributions and the legacy of his father.
