In a shocking information reaching Becksblog.com.ng, the family of Yakubu Ndahi, his wife Ann Lady Yakubu, and their young son, Nathan have been declared missing after failing to arrive at their destination in Calabar, Cross River State.
The family departed Lagos on August 10, 2024, in a private vehicle, but contact with them was lost hours into their journey.
According to Ann’s elder sister, Blessing Alechenu, the last communication she had with the family was at around 2 p.m. while they were near Onitsha, Anambra State.
Despite attempts to reach them later in the day, their phones were unresponsive by the evening, and the family never reached their destination.
Alechenu expressed her concerns, stating, “Their numbers rang around 6 to 7 p.m., but they didn’t answer. After some hours, the lines went off completely, and we haven’t been able to contact them since.”
The family’s disappearance has caused significant concern, with relatives and friends taking to social media to raise awareness.
In a Facebook post, another family member, Agada Damian Gentle, expressed deep worry: “It’s been exactly one month since they vanished. We don’t know whether they were kidnapped or involved in an accident. We need help to find closure.”
The matter has been reported to the Lagos State Police Command, but so far, there has been no breakthrough in locating the missing family.
The family is urging anyone with information about their whereabouts to come forward.
