Harford Oseke, the former Deputy Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, has tragically passed away.
The incident occurred after Oseke had just completed his regular exercise routine at Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka, the state capital.
According to eyewitness reports, Oseke collapsed suddenly after finishing his workout.
Immediate efforts were made to revive him, but they proved unsuccessful. He was pronounced dead shortly after the incident, and his body has been taken to Apex Medical Centre in Awka.
Born in August 1960, Harford Oseke hailed from Umuawulu in the Awka South local government area.
He was a highly educated individual, with a background in law and a recently completed Ph.D. in Public Administration.
His intellectual pursuits were matched by his professional achievements, particularly in the freight forwarding industry in Port Harcourt. Oseke was also known for his involvement in the importation of fishing feeds into Nigeria.
The news of his passing has sent shockwaves through the community, where he was well-respected for his contributions to both public service and the private sector. Oseke is survived by his wife and children.
