Fuel scarcity has resurfaced in Jos, the capital of Plateau state, leaving residents stranded as filling stations shut their doors and transporters hike fares.
Long queues have formed at the remaining open stations as customers fear an impending fuel scarcity.
Some residents who lamented to Becksblog, said as of Tuesday morning, April 30, they bought a litre of fuel for N900 and in the afternoon to evening, some filling stations are selling it at the rate of N950 to N1,000 per litre.
The residents also revealed that the situation has caused inconvenience and hardship for commuters, with many stranded at bus stops and terminals.
