In a sad information reaching Becksblog.com.ng, that unknown gunmen has kidnapped and killed one Barrister Jude Oguejiofor from Orsumogu community in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Reports says, the lawyer was kidnapped alongside his younger brother, a medical doctor.
The brother was however, released by the kidnappers while Mr. Oguejiofor was later killed.
It was also revealed that they were abducted on their way to visit their aged parents.
A source who wants to remain anonymity said;
“The gunmen later released his brother and kept him on the allegation that he had been writing petitions to the Anambra State government about their activities”.
It was said that the kidnappers promised to released the lawyer as soon as they are done with their investigations.
“They later contacted the family and told them to forget about the legal practitioner as he had been killed.”
It was also revealed that immediately their father heard the news of his son’s passed on Sunday, February 11, he collapsed and died at the spot.
