Brown revealed that when he was just 15 years old, Diddy offered unexpected support by funding his first-ever music video.
“P. Diddy paid for my first video shoot when I was just 15. He didn’t sign me, but he told me I was talented and could make it on my own. He funded my first video and wished me good luck,” Brown stated.
Brown also touched on a difficult period in his life following his public fallout with Rihanna, where he felt abandoned by many in the industry.
He credits Diddy for providing encouragement during that time. “When I had issues with Rihanna and everyone turned their backs on me, he would call to encourage me to stay strong,” Brown recounted.
Addressing the ongoing allegations surrounding P. Diddy, Brown was careful not to dismiss the accusations but expressed disappointment with how Diddy has been portrayed.
“It’s unfortunate that the media portrays him as if he’s never done any good. I don’t know if the allegations against him are true, but if they are, let the law take its course. Let’s not exaggerate.”
