A popular Nigerian comedian, known as Retiredman, who is based in Jos, Plateau State, recently recounted a humorous incident involving a commercial driver during a trip in Abuja.
In a post shared on his Facebook page on Saturday morning, September 7, the comedian described how a routine journey from Nyanya to Gwagwalada took a comedic turn when the driver made an unexpected stop due to a bout of diarrhea.
According to Retiredman, the driver abruptly parked the vehicle after passing the University of Abuja, explaining to the passengers that he had a “running stomach.”
The passengers were left waiting for about 15 minutes as the driver rushed into the nearby bush to relieve himself.
The comedian humorously remarked, “This driver took us from Nyanya to Gwagwalada this morning. After Uni Abuja on our way, driver just rush park say e get running stomach! We are waiting for like 15mins now! This country na comedy channel of heaven.”
The post quickly gained attention online, with many Nigerians relating to the experience, seeing the humor in the unpredictability of daily life in the country.
