Popular Nigerian singer, Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, better known as Spyro, has revealed how he kneeled down in public to beg an influencer to promote his viral song, “who’s your guy”, but he denied.
He also revealed that Craze De Clown was the reason why the song was heard and later became viral, stating that after meeting him with the song, the skitmaker took it personal as if the song was his.
He is however grateful to him, adding that even after the song became viral, Craze De Clown didn’t asked for a dime.
The singer revealed this during an interview he had recently.
He said;
“When I released my song ‘Who is your guy’, I was eager for the world to hear it. I tried my best to promote it, but it wasn’t getting the attention I hoped for. One day, I met an influencer and begged him to promote my song, but he refused. I didn’t give up though. I sent the song to Craze de Clown, and he took it personally. People even thought I was his artist. He promoted the song without charging me a dime, and it became a hit. I’m so grateful for his help”.
