Nigerian artist Oxlade, has recently spoken out for the first time in two years about the consequences he faced after his private Sèx tape was leaked online without his consent.
Notably, Oxlade gained attention when his intimate videos were illicitly made public two years ago.
During a recent interview with media personality Joey Akan, Oxlade disclosed that he lost all his endorsement deals totaling N400 million due to the unauthorized release of his intimate video.
He mentioned that he was being blackmailed because of these videos, so he felt a sense of relief when they were leaked.
However, Oxlade emphasized that aside from the financial losses from his endorsement deals, the scandal surrounding his Sèx tape deeply affected his family, especially his beloved grandmother.
Furthermore, Oxlade revealed that brands ended their partnerships with him, expressing concerns about his influence on young people who looked up to him.
