Popular Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, has revealed how she was rejected at a movie location many years ago.
The movie star said some of the movie producers denied her role to play in their movies simply because she don’t have big butt and big boobs.
Funke said this during a podcast interview ‘Toke Moments’ which is anchored by TV personality, Toke Makinwa.
The mother of two said there was a time she went to the bathroom and cry, because all the roles she was getting then was a minor roles.
She also revealed how her colleague, Iyabo Ojo always stepped in to help her out when she had disagreements with movie makers who turned her down because of her physical appearance.
She said;
“I remember people telling me, ‘You are not fine. You don’t have ass. You don’t have boobs. You will not be in this film. And, I remember crying. A lot of times I would cry, break down, get into the bathroom and cry.”
