A remorseful man has publicly admitted to using dark magic to sabotage his nephew’s career, confessing that jealousy over his nephew’s success led him to cause the young man’s joblessness.
The shocking confession was made on Facebook, where the man expressed deep regret and a desire to seek redemption for his actions.
The man shared that both his daughter and his brother’s son had been accepted into university.
However, while his daughter had to drop out after falling pregnant, his nephew continued with his studies. Overcome by envy, the man took a drastic and destructive step.
“I went to a sangoma (Native doctor) to block my nephew from getting a job after completing his studies. I was just jealous that he would be more successful than my daughter,” he wrote.
He explained that the spell he placed on his nephew had led to his inability to secure a job after graduation, something the man now deeply regrets.
The man’s remorse is compounded by his recent religious conversion.
After finding faith and becoming a committed churchgoer, he admitted that his attempts to undo the harm he caused have not been successful.
“I’ve been praying hard for God to reverse it, but it’s not working,” he confessed.
Although he no longer associates with the forces of evil, he expressed his pain at seeing his educated nephew struggling, while his own daughter works in a low-paying job at a local shop.
