Mike Bamiloye, the founder of Mount Zion Faith Ministries, took to social media to share a heartfelt reflection on his early years of marriage.
In his post, he expressed gratitude for his wife, Gloria, and reflected on their humble beginnings.
Bamiloye recounted how they had no money for a honeymoon and how his wedding was largely supported by family and friends.
His sister rented a flat for him, his best man bought his wedding suit, and his sister-in-law graciously provided his wedding shoes.
Even the wedding gown was made possible through the generosity of a member of their ministry.
He revealed that due to financial constraints, they couldn’t afford a court marriage at the time.
It wasn’t until six years ago, when an embassy requested their marriage certificate, that they finally completed the civil formalities.
Despite these challenges, Bamiloye expressed deep gratitude for marrying Gloria, a woman who didn’t place unnecessary pressures on him.
He praised God for His grace in their lives, acknowledging that their journey together was marked by divine provision.
In his words, “But here we are sponsored by GRACE, I thank God I didn’t marry a lady who would put me on unwarranted pressures and unnecessary constraints. Glory be to God for GLORIA!”
