In a recent statement, rapper and business mogul 50 Cent (real name Curtis Jackson) shared his unfiltered views on marriage and relationships, causing a stir online.
He emphatically declared, “I will never get married, not even in a dream,” citing his belief that women are often not fully committed in relationships.
According to him, “90% of them are with you because of what they stand to gain.”
This skeptical outlook on relationships is rooted in his personal experiences, as he further elaborated that he even takes precautions before intimate moments, saying, “Here before I kiss you, I even sign a form to show that you accepted it… I don’t want stories tomorrow.”
50 Cent’s statement touched on his perception that many women view men without financial means as undeserving of affection, stating, “Many women even think a man without cash does not have a right to get horny.”
While his remarks may be divisive, 50 Cent made it clear that his decision not to marry does not affect his desire for fatherhood. He concluded by saying, “I’ll have my kids, take care of them, and move.”
Though 50 Cent has never been married, he has been in high-profile relationships with women like Shaniqua Tompkins, with whom he shares a son, Marquise Jackson, and model Daphne Joy, with whom he has another son, Sire Jackson.
Despite these relationships, marriage does not seem to be part of the rapper’s plans.
