VeryDarkMan has exposed an inheritance scandal that could change Nigerians’ perception of Access Bank, involving a contested N500 million fortune.
The controversy revolves around the late Mr. Edongesi Edit Hour, who passed away on April 17, 2019, and his sister, Basi Edit Hour, who claims he shared details of his substantial financial assets, including accounts at Access Bank.
In a video, VeryDarkMan revealed that Basi successfully accessed funds from GT Bank and Keystone Bank, thanks to a Letter of Administration from the Kaduna High Court.
However, Access Bank has denied the existence of an account linked to Mr. Edongesi, even though the Central Bank of Nigeria confirmed it through his BVN.
Despite confirmation, Access Bank provided incomplete records and claimed the account, opened in 2016, had been inactive, with a balance of just 54 Kobo by 2020.
VeryDarkMan has raised concerns over the missing records and the possible misconduct behind the bank’s actions.
The activist urged Nigerians to monitor their Access Bank accounts closely, warning that this issue could affect the future of many.
He called for a thorough investigation and demanded that the allegations be taken seriously.
