Information reaching reaching Becksblog.com.ng, that the Nigeria Labor Congress ‘NLC’ and the Trade Union Congress ‘TUC’ have decided to embark on a Nation wide strike early morning on the 14th of November at 12AM o’clock.
In a letter released by the union and signed by the two union secretaries, they told their members all over Nigeria to start a strike.
Inspite of the Court’s ban on them from going to strike.
NLC secretary Emmanuel Ugbuja, he said that what they want is to stop those who attacked and beat their president, Joe Ajaero.
Ugboaja said the president had nothing to say about the attack on the NLC chairman in Imo State.
Read the statement below; “The head of the president of Labour union in the entire Nigeria was beaten in Imo state, the president of Nigeria is is silent about it, that is not done.
Recall that the protest started in Imo state where the state power was turned off but Ugboaja said that they will embark on nation wide protest over Nigeria if the president refused to say anything about the beating of their president.
Also remember that the president of the Union, Joe Ajaero, went to Imo state to lead the workers to protest for the money Imo State government is owing their members.
