Information reaching Necksblog.com.ng, that the police officer identified as Mohammed Aminu, who was slapped few weeks ago on the Third Mainland Bridge, Lagos by Afrobeat musician Seun Kuti, has been promoted.
This was revealed in a statement on Thursday night by the Police Service Commission (PSC), adding that Aminu was promoted to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).
According to the spokesperson, Ikechukwu Ani, said Aminu, despite of being assaulted, he exhibited a high level of professionalism.
Ani said; “Inspector Mohammed Aminu, who trended on social Media where he was seen being assaulted in uniform by one Seun Kuti, was also promoted to ASP I”.
