Kenyan woman Eileen Cherotich, 22, died when her boyfriend dragged her out of a moving car.
The incident happened because the couple got into a fight earlier in the evening.
Eileen was a business student at Rift Valley Institute of Science and Technology.
She was found dead after the altercation turned deadly. The argument got out of hand on the way home, and her boyfriend forcibly pulled her out of the moving car, according to Kenya Times reports.
The authorities have not yet disclosed the specifics of the dispute that led to this terrible consequence.
“They were having a drunken night out at a particular pub in Nakuru.
“The deceased and her boyfriend were driving back in the car. Nobody knows what happened to the deceased, who was suddenly out of the car.
“At this point, we don’t know if she was thrown or jumped on her own,” the police said.
The car involved in the incident and the boyfriend, whose identity has not been disclosed, are being held at Nakuru West Police Station while investigations are ongoing.
The young woman’s body has reportedly been brought to Nakuru County Referral Hospital’s mortuary.
