In Lagos, Fatai Mogaji has been apprehended following allegations of murdering his ex-girlfriend, Opeyemi.
Mogaji, who had been on the run, is accused of stabbing Opeyemi 22 times.
According to reports, Opeyemi and Mogaji met at a club in Ikorodu on July 10, 2024, and spent time together.
The night took a violent turn around 5 a.m. when an argument erupted, leading to Mogaji allegedly attacking Opeyemi with a knife.
Opeyemi’s sister announced the arrest on August 5, revealing that Mogaji was captured at F1 Bar in Ikorodu with the help of friends and well-wishers.
He has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) in Panti, Yaba.
