A distressing incident has emerged from the Alakuko area of Lagos State, where a 14-year-old girl has allegedly been assaulted by the son of her landlord.
Reports indicate that the incident occurred on Monday, August 12, 2024.
A social media user, known as Rhwaley, shared videos depicting the victim and detailed the family’s confrontation with the landlord, who reportedly dismissed their concerns with the statement, “Nothing will happen.”
The post included a caption highlighting the girl’s plight, stating, “A 14-year-old girl was assaulted yesterday by her landlord’s son in Alakuko, Lagos.
The girl’s family feels powerless, as the landlord has indicated that no action will be taken.”
In the circulating video, the victim appears to be in significant distress while bystanders discuss the urgency of transporting her to a nearby hospital for necessary medical care.
