Mercy Chinwo’s music producer, Dr. Roy, becomes emotional as he claims that she failed to compensate him for her successful songs and didn’t offer support when his father suffered a stroke.
Dr. Roy aired his grievances while being interviewed on the most recent episode of the Honest Bunch podcast.
Dr. Roy asserted that he dedicated long hours to assisting the gospel singer in producing her songs.
Throughout those moments, what kept him motivated was the aspiration to earn enough so that his family could enjoy financial stability.
Yet, this hope was dashed as it never materialized. He also mentioned that he reached out to the singer for support when his father suffered a stroke, but she simply reassured him that “he will be fine” without offering any assistance.
The music producer had to pause at intervals to hold back his tears while recounting the story.
