In the wake of singer Mohbad’s one-year remembrance, his mother, Mrs. Aloba, has pleaded with the public to stop dragging her and her husband, Joseph Aloba, in online disputes.
She announced that the couple has now joined forces to seek justice for their late son, signaling the end of the divisive “Team Mama Mohbad” and “Team Baba Mohbad” narratives.
Speaking days after accusing Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi, of betrayal, Mrs. Aloba stressed the importance of family unity.
She said, “Whatever his father says is final. We don’t want any celebration for his remembrance. You all should leave us to settle our issues internally.”
Mohbad tragically passed away on September 11, 2023, though the public only learned of his death the following day.
Reports suggest he died due to complications from tetanus, allegedly after receiving an injection from a nurse at a Lagos hospital.
