A staff member of the Nigeria Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO) has been praised for his honesty after returning a missing sum of $10,000, which is approximately 16 million Naira, at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano.
The incident came to light when a Twitter user, identified as @ZagazOlaMakama, shared the story on Wednesday, August 28.
According to the tweet, the employee, Auwal Ahmed Dankode, discovered the large sum of money while cleaning a plane.
Auwal, who hails from Kode in Kano State, immediately reported the discovery to the airline company’s manager to help locate the rightful owner.
Auwal’s act of integrity has drawn widespread admiration, with many praising him for his strong sense of responsibility and fear of God.
