Union members shuttered the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) office in Lagos on Monday as part of the nationwide strike organized by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC).
The strike, launched in protest against the Federal Government’s proposed N60,000 minimum wage, featured photos online showing union members wielding sticks and evacuating FIRS personnel from the Agidingbi office in Ikeja.
