A Nigerian woman, identified as Precious, recently shared her experience after attending a job interview at a private school, where she applied for the role of a French teacher.
According to Precious, the salary offered was N55,000, a figure she found alarmingly low considering the school’s hefty fees of N294,000 per child.
Precious, who took to social media to express her dissatisfaction, highlighted the stark disparity between the salary and the fees charged by the school.
She noted that despite the high tuition, the school was offering its teachers what she considered a meager salary, especially given the number of classes she was expected to teach.
