A Nigerian man who returned $14,000 (about N21 million) mistakenly transferred to his account by a foreign crypto trader has been financially rewarded for his honesty.
The incident was revealed when the foreign crypto trader @raffayalvi publicly acknowledged Femi’s integrity on Twitter (now X).
After the post, netizens praised Femi’s actions and asked for his crypto wallet address to send him money as a reward for his honesty.
Femi, who recently shared his reason for not keeping the money, expressed his gratitude as his crypto wallet balance now exceeded $5,000 (more than N7.5 million).
Sharing his excitement on Twitter, Femi wrote:
“Waoh $5000 this is amazing @raffayalvi,”
