According to multiple reports reaching Becksblog.com.ng, veteran actor Olu Jacobs passed away on Sunday, June 30, at the age of 82.
Jacobs, a highly acclaimed actor, had been suffering from dementia for some time.
In a recent interview, his wife, Joke Silva, stated that her husband’s health issues had dramatically changed him, noting that he is no longer the same man she married 37 years ago.
“It hasn’t been easy. I had to come to terms with the reality of the situation. The man I married is only present 20 percent of the time,” she said.
“But when he was himself, he was an incredible father and an amazing husband. He was practically my best friend.”
Despite his health challenges, Silva said she still loves him.
“The husband I knew is no longer there for me. This man that is here is someone I still love, but in a different way,” she said.
