Nollywood actress Bisola Badmus, who has been absent from the screen for some time, has opened up about her health challenges and financial struggles.
In a candid revelation, Badmus disclosed that she sold her two cars to cover the costs of her medical treatment.
This revelation came during an online prank orchestrated by comedian Omoga and actor Olamilekan Ayinla, who visited Badmus at her home.
Omoga, unaware of the actress’s health condition, requested a loan of N7 million for a movie project.
Badmus, visibly emotional, shared that she could only offer twenty thousand naira due to the financial strain caused by her prolonged illness.
The actress, known for her vibrant roles in Nollywood, has been battling illness for two years.
She explained, “Thank God for life, the period that you’ve come is quite tough. I’ve been sick for two years, what a pity! What I have now is twenty thousand Naira and I will give it to you but as you progress with the movie production I will support you more.”
Badmus further revealed, “I’ve been very sick for two years now and I even sold my two cars.”
Her heartfelt confession has sparked concern and empathy from fans, highlighting the challenges faced by many in the entertainment industry.
