Nigerian Grammy award-winning artist Burna Boy has publicly addressed rumors suggesting inappropriate relations with American music mogul Sean P. Diddy Combs.
These speculations emerged following accusations against P. Diddy, who is currently under investigation for alleged sexual misconduct, including claims that he engaged in inappropriate relationships for career gains.
A few days ago, Nigerian entertainer Speed Darlington stirred controversy by questioning whether Burna Boy’s success, including his Grammy-winning album Twice As Tall, was connected to any inappropriate dealings with P. Diddy.
In response to these allegations, Burna Boy took to social media, writing:
“I’ve been hearing a lot of rubbish coming out of some people’s mouths. They say Diddy did something inappropriate with me. Speed Darlington started this nonsense. We’ll settle it when I return to Nigeria.”
Burna Boy clarified his professional relationship with the American artist, stating:
“Diddy is just a business colleague. He helped produce my album Twice As Tall. Nigerians love spreading lies. I’ve never even been to Diddy’s house; we only meet at clubs. Just because I don’t have a child doesn’t mean I’m gay. Watch your words, I’ve said my piece.”
The rumors have gained traction amidst the ongoing investigations involving P. Diddy, but Burna Boy remains firm in denying any personal connection beyond their professional collaboration.
