In a deeply tragic account, a Nigerian woman named Magdaline Stella has shared a heart-wrenching story about her family’s devastating losses.
In the space of just seven months, Stella lost six close relatives, leaving her in profound grief.
Stella, who recounted the sorrowful events on her Facebook page on Monday, August 12, revealed that her family’s ordeal began on December 5, 2023, when her uncle, Baba Bulus Pam Tok, 79, passed away from heart disease.
Tragedy struck again on December 19, 2023, when her brother-in-law, also 79 years old, who was married to her older sister, died.
The loss continued into the new year. Her uncle, John Adamu, aged 46, succumbed to complications from kidney stones.
Then, on April 3, 2024, her 22-year-old sister, Esther Pam, died following a brief illness.
Just two months later, on June 19, 2024, her 26-year-old brother, Chun Gideon, was killed in a tragic accident.
Finally, on July 30, 2024, Stella’s father, Baba Yohanna Pam Tok, aged 66, passed away due to kidney disease.
In her emotional post, Stella expressed her heartbreak, writing: “I lost my uncle, brother-in-law, sister, brother, and recently my Dad. All these happened within a space of 7 months. It’s so traumatizing. I will forever miss you, my heroes and my friends. Continue to rest in peace, loved ones.”
This happened in Jos, Plateau state.
The emotional toll of these successive losses has left Stella and her family in deep mourning, as they try to come to terms with the overwhelming grief.
