Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has stirred conversation once again with his latest comments about music industry heavyweights Wizkid and Davido.
In a series of posts on Instagram, Portable accused the two of using controversy to maintain their relevance in the industry, alleging that their music is no longer marketable.
He stated that the ongoing social media spat between Wizkid and Davido is simply a promotional tactic, urging them to stop using their disputes to gain attention.
“Don’t use your brother to shine, shine yourself. Una songs no dey market again, na fight una dey use do promotion,” Portable wrote.
The ‘Zazu’ singer went on to declare himself bigger than both Wizkid and Davido, saying he has hit songs and does not need to engage in fake promotions.
“Portable is bigger than them. Who is big is big,” he added.
The statement follows an ongoing public feud between Wizkid and Davido, with Wizkid recently launching attacks on Davido and his family.
Despite the tension between the two, Davido has remained silent on the matter.
Portable, distancing himself from the feud, emphasized, “Me, I no dey for Davido. Me, I no dey for Wizkid. I dey for myself.”
