Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has reportedly been named the General Secretary of the Senators’ Wives Association of Nigeria (SWAN).
The announcement has garnered widespread attention, with numerous congratulatory messages pouring in for the mother of two, though she has yet to officially confirm the news.
One of the first to send her congratulations was fellow actress Mercy Johnson, who shared a picture of Regina Daniels wearing the association’s scarf on social media, referring to her as “Her Excellency.”
This new appointment follows Regina’s previous role as the Social Secretary for the 10th Assembly Senators’ Wives Forum Executive Council, a position she took on in July 2023.
The announcement was made during the inaugural meeting of the 10th Senate’s wives, hosted by Ekaette Akpabio, the wife of Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
