Popular Nigerian singer, Joshua Iniyezo better known as Solid Star, has finally speak up months after he was seen roaming the street of Port Harcourt barefooted.
In August 2023, news went round the internet that the ‘Omotena’ crooner was in need of help with some mental health issues he was dealing with.
Solid Star, while sharing a new post via his official Instagram page on Sunday afternoon, March 3, appreciated everyone for reaching out to him during his darkest moment, also revealed that he has released a new song titled; “SONTO”.
He wrote;
“🎶 SONTO🎶
“It’s been a journey—one filled with highs and lows, triumphs and tribulations. Today, I release “SONTO,” a piece of my heart poured into every beat and lyric.
“I want to take this moment to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who stood by me during my darkest hour. Your unwavering support, whether through a message, a call, or a silent prayer, meant more to me than words can convey.
“To my fans, friends, and family: thank you for never giving up on me, even when I struggled to hold onto myself. Your love has been my guiding light, leading me out of the shadows and into the warmth of healing.
“I also want to extend a heartfelt apology to anyone I may have unintentionally hurt or offended along the way. I am far from perfect, but I am committed to growth, empathy, and understanding. Please forgive me, in your own time and in your own way.
“Moving forward, I pledge to use my platform not only to create music but also to advocate for mental health awareness and to spread positivity in every note and every word. Together, let’s embrace our imperfections, support one another, and journey towards a brighter tomorrow.
“With love and gratitude.
“Joshua Inyezo “SOLIDSTAR”.
