Sunmbo Adeoye, a baby mama of renowned Nigerian singer 2Baba, and now married to a pastor, David Adeoye a Senior Pastor of Royalty Christian Centre in Lagos, Nigeria, has issued a powerful message encouraging men to offer love and support to single mothers.
Adeoye, who is also a clergywoman, took to her social media platform to remind men that single motherhood is neither a disease nor a spell.
In her heartfelt post, Adeoye wrote, “Single motherhood is not a life-threatening disease, neither is it a contagious spell. You don’t become unfortunate for loving her and supporting to raise her children. No.”
Her words aim to dispel the stigma associated with single mothers and inspire them to embrace a fresh start.
Adeoye also shared a word of encouragement for single parents who may be facing judgment or rejection due to societal labels.
“If that person approaching you is judging you by the label, he/she doesn’t deserve to marry you,” she advised.
In addition to her message, Adeoye announced the release of her memoir titled #Refurbished Hope for a Fresh Start, which she describes as a tool for “overhauling mindsets and delivering from misery.”
She also hinted at an upcoming project, #Loving Unconditionally by Sunmbo Adeoye, encouraging her followers to stay tuned for its release.
Adeoye’s message serves as a beacon of hope for single mothers, urging them to hold on to their self-worth and remain open to love and support.
