Nigerian life coach and social media personality, Solomon Buchi, has publicly criticized Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, labeling him as a “sorcerer working with a familiar spirit” rather than a true Christian or prophet.
In a scathing post, Buchi accused Fufeyin of masquerading as a man of God while engaging in practices he believes are antithetical to Christian values.
Buchi expressed his concern about the impact such figures have on the perception of the Christian faith.
“We can’t have charlatans disgrace the precious name of Jesus this way and soil the perception of the church,” Buchi wrote, emphasizing the need for the Christian community to take a stand against what he sees as fraudulent behavior.
Drawing parallels to the biblical account of Peter rebuking Simon the Sorcerer, Buchi argued that Fufeyin’s actions—such as selling miracle soap and claiming to possess David’s stone for business, marriage, and ministry success—are nothing more than a rebranding of local spiritualist practices.
He called for Fufeyin to be “called out, rebuked, and arrested” to prevent further harm to the church’s reputation.
Buchi concluded his post with a stern warning, stating, “That man has no place in the church, and God will judge him speedily.”
His comments have sparked a conversation among followers and critics alike, raising questions about the role of accountability and discernment within religious communities.
