Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has announced a reward of one million Naira for anyone who can provide information that leads to the arrest of those threatening his fans, friends, family, and associates.
Edochie uncovered a WhatsApp group responsible for bullying and harassment, which included sharing his home address and making threats against his children and partner.
He has reported the matter to the police and urged anyone receiving threatening communications to record and forward them to aid in identifying the culprits.
Edochie called on the public to join him in condemning such behavior and ensuring justice is served.
In his statement, he expressed: “A group of idle, foolish individuals have formed a WhatsApp group and social media pages to threaten my fans, friends, and business associates. Bullying is unacceptable, period.
“I have reported this to the police. If anyone contacts you with threats, please record the call, save the messages, and send them to me so I can pass them to the police.
“They have even posted my home address and threatened harm to my children and partner. This has gone too far. No one has the right to dictate how others should live. I will find all of you.
“I am offering one million Naira and more for information leading to their arrest. To all my fans and friends worldwide, please help me catch these individuals. Thank you for your love and support. God bless you. Cyberbullying is absolutely unacceptable.”
