Nigerian President, Bola Tinubu is set to embark on an official trip to France on Monday, August 19, 2024.
The President will depart from Abuja, the nation’s capital, as part of a brief working visit.
According to a statement released by Ajurk Ngelale, the presidential media aide, the purpose of the visit is to engage in high-level discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between Nigeria and France.
The statement noted that President Tinubu’s itinerary includes meetings with key French government officials and business leaders.
“The President will return to the country after his brief work stay in France,” the statement added, without specifying the exact duration of the trip.
This visit comes at a time when Nigeria is seeking to deepen its ties with European nations, particularly in areas of economic cooperation, security, and investment.
