The family of Borno State House of Assembly Member Representing Ngala LGA, Hon Bukar Abacha, has been thrown into mourning as his daughter was reportedly strangulated to death by her husband in Gidan Dembe, Maiduguri.
Initially, the victim’s husband identified as Adamu Ibrahim, told Police that he went home and found his wife in the pool of her blood with her hand tied behind her back while her 2-year-old child was there crying.
However, in a new update, the police command through their investigations, discovered that Adamu Alhaji Ibrahim, 31, was the one who killed his 25-year-old wife, Fatima Alhaji Bukar by strangling her to death after being challenged about infidelity.
According to report by the Gwange PRO, Sani Kamilu, said the suspect and his accomplice, Bukar Wadiya and a Honda car, traveled to Gwange Division and transported the corpse into the car and called the police for assistance right away.
However, some items were discovered when investigating the house where the event took place: a small pestle, a rope, a rug carpet splashed with blood, a mucus-soaked pillow, and a knife.
