Nollywood actor Charles Okocha, popularly known as “Mr. Phenomenal,” has opened up about his decision to keep his love life away from the public eye.
The actor, who recently tied the knot with his long-time partner, revealed that they had been in a private relationship since 2017.
In an interview, Okocha explained, “I am married because it’s only right for me to be married. We have been dating since 2017, quietly, with no social media show of affection. She lives in America and is a nurse.”
Okocha, who is widely known for his vibrant personality, shared that his journey as a “baby daddy” made him realize the importance of settling down at the right time.
Reflecting on his new chapter, he stated, “It’s the right time to commit.”
The actor’s children are reportedly thrilled with the news of his marriage. “My kids are very comfortable and happy with the news,” he disclosed.
Okocha and his wife celebrated their union with a traditional wedding ceremony on November 9, 2024.
