In a shocking incident in Taraba State, a woman has been arrested by the police for allegedly cutting off her husband’s grandson’s lips using a heated knife.
The gruesome event occurred in Wukari Local Government Area.
According to multiple reports, the unidentified woman attacked the boy, identified as Justice Chinecherim Julius, inflicting severe injuries.
Witnesses say she heated the knife in a fire before using it to mercilessly slice through the young boy’s lips.
The incident was confirmed by a Facebook user, Garba Alpha, who shared details in a comment section. “Police in Wukari arrested the grandfather’s wife who used a hot knife to cut Justice Chinecherim Julius’ lips mercilessly,” Alpha wrote.
He also praised the Chairman of Wukari LGA and local residents for their swift response to the heinous act, vowing that justice would be served for Julius.
The Taraba State Police Command has confirmed the arrest and assured the public that the case will be thoroughly investigated to ensure that justice is done.
