Zenith Bank has appointed Adaora Umeoji as its new Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (GMD/CEO).
This was disclosed by the bank in a corporate filing on the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX) on Tuesday, March 19, and signed by Michael Osilima, the bank’s secretary.
Umeoji’s appointment is set to commence on June 1, 2024.
Adaora Umeoji holds degrees from Harvard Business School, Columbia Business School, MIT Sloan School of Management, and Wharton Business School, in addition to qualifications from University of Jos, Baze University, University of Salford, and University of Calabar.
She has also garnered certifications from various professional bodies and was honored by the Nigerian government in 2022.
Furthermore, she serves as a Peace Advocate for the United Nations.
